Provide resources and authority


“But you didn’t give me his email address!”


You’re looking to save time by giving a task over to someone else.

Well, make sure that person has the resources they need to do that task.


Did you provide contact info for people they will have to reach?

Did you provide login information for programs they will use?

Did you provide background information so they know what’s already done?


You also want to make sure that you provided your delegate with the authority to get things done.

(Can you temporarily provide her with admin access to the company account?)
